Once Upon a Time there was an Artist Named Garry Sanipass…

This is day 2 of my attempts at Active Imagination. In order to stay focused I placed myself in a very quiet area where I won’t be disturbed. Usually the instructions say to not share your experiences with anyone, to keep them private, but I’m sharing this. This is too fascinating to keep it to myself and I feel compelled to share this. So, I’m trusting you. I turn down all of the lights except a candle. I have this old typewriter, and the letter “t” is loose so it keeps floating upwards on me. I have to stop and reset it most of the time. I practice meditation a lot so I put myself in a meditative state, and I journey. I always walk into a forest to find where this alchemist lives. I feel a calming warming experience and a little anxious because I seldom know what to expect from my own mind. Which sounds very weird. I mean, this is all me. Except it feels like I am talking to someone else, with their own agency, their problems, their own fears that have nothing to do with me.

I am having this amazingly powerful awakening. A realization. This alchemist this Dr I am is helping me realize something. But, he is me. How is it that I couldn’t see this before? I have indeed been reduced to a consumer. I live pay check to pay check buying the next thing and the next. I don’t grow my own food or make my own clothes. I drive everywhere I need to go buying gasoline. Governments improve roads and make things further away so I need to keep driving, keep this machine working. Dependent on a system. Dependent like an addict. Please share your thoughts and or experiences. I think I’m beginning to see, but I need more….hmmm more LIGHT. g
