Once Upon a Time there was an Artist Named Garry Sanipass…

Here is a painting that is based upon a performance film I made. Early in my career I have been lucky in experimenting and exposure to different types of art. I am very lucky to have meet the people I have met. Sincerely I would like to thank all who have helped me to get to this point. A place I started was at the Bouctouche Art Gallery, Kent south Gallery. They gave me a chance and I am very thankful for that. Realistically, I don’t think I would have gotten where I am today. I count my lucky stars everyday. Career wise, I think we all need someone that believes in us and can give us that chance. Kilometres from Bouctouche, is Moncton, a larger city that I am also thankful for. Simply, the art shack there gave me the space I needed to practice when they did life drawing. Training like that is vital in art. Everyone should do it. Realism in art is a passion for me, but I like to go deeper than that.
